Publication Ethics

The Journal of Science and Technology, Dhonburi Rajabhat University is an academic journal published to encourage faculty members, scholars, and researchers to use it as a medium for disseminating academic knowledge and research findings, as well as for exchanging academic and research insights. To ensure the quality of published work and compliance with international publication standards, the journal has established the following guidelines and ethical standards for authors, the editorial board, and peer reviewers:

Duties and Responsibilities of Authors

  1. Originality: Authors must submit manuscripts that have not been previously published, are not currently under consideration by another journal, and have not been accepted for publication elsewhere.
  2. Plagiarism: Authors must not plagiarize the work of others.
  3. Revision: Authors must agree to revise their manuscripts according to the suggestions provided by peer reviewers and the editorial board.
  4. Formatting and Referencing: Authors must strictly adhere to the formatting and citation styles specified by the journal.
  5. Responsibility: The content of articles published in the Journal of Science and Technology, Dhonburi Rajabhat University is the sole responsibility of the authors.

Duties and Responsibilities of Editors

  1. Screening and Selection: Editors are responsible for screening and selecting articles whose content and quality align with the journal's objectives, scope, and formatting requirements.
  2. Reviewing Content: Editors must review abstracts (both Thai and English), content, language usage, and references before sending the manuscript to peer reviewers.
  3. Reviewer Selection: Editors are responsible for selecting peer reviewers whose expertise matches the specific field or branch of the manuscript.
  4. Impartiality: Editors must summarize the reviewers' evaluations and suggestions for the authors. Editors must not interfere with, alter, or edit the evaluation results from peer reviewers.
  5. Final Verification: Editors must verify the accuracy of the manuscript after authors have made revisions. If an author fails to revise the work according to the reviewers' suggestions, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the manuscript immediately.
  6. Confidentiality: Editors must not disclose information about authors or reviewers to unrelated parties.
  7. Quality Development: Editors are responsible for continuously developing the journal’s quality to remain up-to-date and provide new knowledge beneficial to local communities and society.
  8. Conflict of Interest: Editors must have no conflict of interest with authors or peer reviewers.

Duties and Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers

  1. Expertise: Reviewers must only evaluate manuscripts within their field of genuine expertise.
  2. Quality and Ethics: Reviewers must prioritize quality and ethical publishing standards during the evaluation process.
  3. Integrity: Reviewers must not seek personal gain from the academic work they evaluate.
  4. Confidentiality: Reviewers must not disclose details of the manuscript or information about the authors to unrelated parties.
  5. Timeliness: Reviewers must complete their evaluation within the timeframe specified by the editorial board.
