Characterization of morphological variation in wild orchids of Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province

Abstract

A dendrogram based on an analysis of 66 morphological characters was found, and the coefficient of similarity between natural orchid species ranged from 0.29 to 0.71. Orchid species of the same genus were clustered in a specific form. The correlation matrix of the morphological marker reached a goodness of fit (r) of 0.88. This value is proved that the grouping based on morphological characterization of species of orchids can be categorized accordingly and can be used as a reference for determining the parent cross.
