Analysis of Generative AI and Human Experts in Herbal Research

The emergence and the integration potential of generative artificial intelligence (AI) have transformed many fields. AI has sparked discussions about its potential to rival or complement human expertise, particularly in specialized domains such as herbal research, including herbal propagation, extraction purification and formulation.

This paper examines the comparative capabilities of generative AI and human experts, focusing on their strengths and weaknesses in data processing, knowledge generation, creativity, and ethical considerations. By evaluating and analyzing these dimensions, this study highlights how generative AI can complement human expertise, leading to more robust and innovative herbal research practices. The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how generative AI can enhance, rather than replace, the role of human experts in herbal research.    This paper also examines the strengths and limitations of the generative AI, focusing on data processing capabilities, knowledge generation, creativity, and ethical considerations.
